Every account opens on the Tutor plan for fourteen days, with no card. After that you either pay for it or settle onto Starter and keep teaching — and whatever parents pay you stays yours, all of it.
The plans
Whichever you pick, the first fourteen days are the Tutor plan — the scheduling, the parent reports, the marking, the assistant. No card, and nothing to cancel. On day fifteen you either keep it or drop to Starter, which is free for ever.
€0
forever, after your trial
For a student or two — and where your trial settles.
€39
a month
For a full book of around ten students.
€89
a month
For a practice that has outgrown one teacher.
Let’s talk
priced per practice
For a school or a centre with a team.
Nothing is taken away when the fourteen days end. Starter keeps two students, the whole question bank and every lesson you have already taught — you lose the scheduling and the parent-facing work, not your history.
Pay yearly and you pay for ten months, not twelve.
On the Tutor plan and above
Owlileo has a Telegram bot, and it is not a notification channel — it runs your practice. Type what you want the way you would say it to a colleague, and AI works out what you meant. It answers at eleven on a Sunday night, from the queue at the supermarket, on the phone already in your hand.
“book Christos Tuesday 5pm” — or “every Tuesday 5pm for 8 weeks” and the whole term goes in at once, skipping the dates you already teach. Cancelling and moving work the same way. No laptop, no midnight catch-up on a diary you meant to fill in on Tuesday.
“who owes me homework”, “how is Christos doing”, “what’s on tomorrow”. It reads the same marks and submissions your dashboard does, and answers in a sentence — the questions you actually ask yourself between lessons, without opening anything.
Every morning: who you are teaching, when, and who turned up without their homework. The reminders before each lesson carry a button that marks the register, so attendance is done by the time the student sits down.
Students photograph their work and it lands in your Homework tab as a normal submission. Taught in a room with paper? Photograph the test, add “test Christos 7/10, strong on trig”, and it is logged as graded work — or let the AI read the pages and grade them for you.
Everyday shapes are recognised instantly and cost nothing; anything else — “can you shift Christos to Thursday, same time” — goes to the AI, which works out who you mean and what you want. But it can only ever point at an action and a student on your own roster: it has no way to write a message, so nothing it produces reaches a family. Everything comes back as a card, and nothing happens until you tap it.
Their reminders, their marked work and their feedback reach the same app they already have open — not an email address a fifteen-year-old checks twice a term.
It is free to use and there is nothing to install: you already have Telegram, or it takes a minute. Link it once from Settings and it knows who you are.
The only thing we count
A student is active in a month if they had a lesson, handed in homework, or sat a test. That is it.
Someone who stops in June and comes back in September counts in June and in September, and not in the three months between. You are charged for the teaching you actually did.
Their homework, their marks and their whole history stay exactly where they are, on every plan, Starter included. A student going quiet is not a reason to lose four terms of their work.
You are not billed per student, so there is never a moment where removing someone saves you two euros. Cross a band and you move up; that is the whole mechanism.
In writing
Parents pay into your own Stripe account, directly. We never touch that money, we take no percentage of it, and we do not charge you per client. Stripe charges its usual card-processing fee, as it would for any business; nothing goes to us. What you charge for a lesson is between you and the family.
All 4,800 questions, all thirteen curricula and every mark scheme are on every plan, Starter included. Capping students is fair; hiding the thing you came for is not.
Every message that reaches a student or a parent — a reminder, a report, a mark — goes out in your name, because you sent it. We do not market to the people you teach.
AI credits are weighted by what the work actually costs us: a parent report is 1 credit, a fresh question from the generator 3, grading a full IA 5. Run out and you can top up at €5 for 100 — nothing stops working without warning.
