Who owns what
Your work stays yours.
A student’s work belongs to the student. Photographs of homework, answers, and anything else uploaded remain theirs; the platform holds them so a tutor can mark them and a parent can see progress. They can be exported or deleted on request.
A tutor’s own material — lesson notes, feedback, rubrics they wrote — belongs to that tutor.
The question bank, the mark schemes, the software and the Owlileo name belong to Owlileo.
The honest limits
What we can and cannot promise.
The platform is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running and to keep the mathematics correct, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable, nor that every question and mark scheme is free of error.
Owlileo is not responsible for examination results. No platform can promise a grade, and any that does is lying to you.
Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise liability is limited to the amount paid to Owlileo in the twelve months before a claim — which, for a student or parent using the platform through their tutor, is nil, because you pay your tutor and not us.
